Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history?  Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of.
I don't know who the oldest member of my family is, probably my grandpa. I honestly don't know much about my family history. I've never met my great grandparents before. Everyone in my family is Indian. The youngest person in my family is my nephew. I really don't know much about my family history so I guess I just have to ask my parents, sorry.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far? 

At first, I chose Weebly, but then they asked me what the name of my website should be. I didn't know what to name it, so I chose Wix, instead. Plus, Weebly wouldn't stop spamming me. Wix is really easy to use. I like it a lot. Three thing I learned about web design are: don't do too much, keep your posts neat and organized, and don't put too many GIFS.

Journal - What have you learned about making a website? Explain.
I've learned setting up your account is easy. I haven't really made my website yet. I'm still looking for a theme. Now I know what not to look for when making your website. It can't be too much. Like you can't add too many, GIFs,  colors, fonts, etc. Anything that will make it crazy. It's important to keep your website neat and organized.

Journal - What do you know about building and creating a website? Have you ever done it before?  List qualities of a well designed and well functioning website.
  I've never made a website before. I mean, I don't know if creating a bog counts as creating a website. Even before I created this blog, I had another blog on Tumblr. With creating blogs, I know it's really easy and fun and you can choose from different layouts and themes and stuff. But websites, I'm not so sure, since I've never made my own website before. Building websites must be more difficult than making blogs. You probably need to know a lot about creating html codes. That, I know none.
  Well functioning websites include tools that are easy to navigate, reliable search bars, and links that are organized out well. Obviously, a good website needs tools that are easy to navigate so people know where to go and how to use your website. Reliable search bars are important so people can get what they're looking for. I've been to websites before that have "custom Google search" but it's not custom at all. If someone wants to search for something that is specifically in the website and not just briefly on Google, they should be able to do that. And last, links that are organized well, because it's always good to have a sidebar with categories so people can access things easier.

Stop-Motion Voting

1.) William Liu. I voted for his video because it was really creative. I love this stop motion because it was a really funny Harlem Shake video. I thought it was the best because it was the most creative.

2.) Ainoa Rohaut. I love her stop-motion video because she told a really creative story about a dog and I just thought that was really cool, especially because she made everything out of paper. Nice idea!

3.) Courtney Moore. I love her video a lot because she made the people look like they were floating and I thought that was super creative and cool. She must have worked really hard on it, because I think it would be difficult getting a shot of people in midair.

Journal - Tell me about two things you've learned while creating you stop-motion animation video. Go in to detail about those two items.
1.) I've learned that making a stop-motion video is hard. You have to dedicate a lot of time and effort into it and makes sure your photo quality and quantity turns out okay. It also takes forever. I felt like 4 days wasn't enough to take photos because it's really time consuming. But then again, I guess it's what you do to make your video depends on how long it takes. For example, if you're using clay to make like ten characters and need time setting up your green screen and adding visual effects and everything, then four days isn't going to cut it.
2.) I've learned how to use Windows Movie Maker. The truth is, I've never used it before. I thought it was okay. I mean if the computer was faster, then it I'd like Movie Maker more.
