Journal - What are the pros and cons to photo editing? What are some
examples of when photo editing is fun and appropriate? When can photo
editing be inappropriate or too much?
To be honest, I love editing photos. There are many pros and cons. The pros to photo editing are: it's fun, it's efficient, and improvement. The cons are: it's time consuming, sometimes it's obvious (Photoshop), and photos that are poorly edited or have low resolution don't turn out well. There are many examples where photo editing is fun and appropriate. Examples are when the photos look neat, nice, presentable, and have nice effects and touch ups. There are also many examples as to how photo editing can be inappropriate or too much. Like when you add too many effects, or what middle schoolers do: too many stickers. Another example of how photo editing can be too much is how the media Photoshops models. They make them flawless, and that is wrong because people will look up to that and try to be like that, even though it's not possible.
